Meet Michelle

Michelle Holley, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker who provides professional counseling and psychoeducational services to her patients at Starting Today Counseling in St. Marys, Georgia. 

Michelle graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, where she was initiated into the national social work honor society, Alpha Delta Mu. She went on to earn her master’s degree in social work from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, where she graduated with a perfect GPA and focused on group counseling, crisis intervention, and marital, couple, and family counseling. She also studied at the Gottman Institute, completing level three practicum training of the Gottman Method, a revered technique for couples therapy. 

Over the course of her career, Michelle has worked in a number of different settings to provide both inpatient and outpatient treatment. She has experience providing care in private practice, recovery centers, correctional facilities, and military settings, both on and off the base. 

As a clinical social worker, Michelle is passionate about inspiring, enhancing, and guiding people’s efforts towards self-improvement. She is driven by seeing her patients become empowered and able to affect positive change in their lives.
